  • First of all, I am vegetarian and co-president of the animal rights club on campus. So please, no haters!
    I think that this is incredibly biased and if anything anti animal rights. When someone calls themself vegan and belittles the actions of anyone who is not vegan, they are making others hate them and therefore not making a positive influence because no one will want to hear what they have to say.
    It is very heirarchical and condescending to put vegans in a top category and then vegetarians in the middle and then meat eaters as the lowest humans. Saying that less than is rediculous.
    YES it is true, dairy is horrible! But nobody can never harm animals. For example, I am not a vegan. But I drive (never hit animals with car or pollute), I run a club and have held various events raising awareness and made an impact on other people, etc. So, what about a vegan that do that- they are a better person than me just because they are vegan? Someone who eats only fish is doing a whole lot more than someone who eats burgers any day. But this be aknowledged because not "perfect"? What kind of attitude is that? We have to SOMEWHERE. And at this point, most people are so out of line with their diet that anything is better than nothing.

    I try to reduce my dairy intake as much as possible. But if I go to my and cake, hell yeah I am going to eat it. If I say that I eat a peice of cake, people will think mental and they take me seriously, and they will think that helping animals is impossible and takes over your life. So, being an extreme vegan can actually go against the cause.

    In conclusion, WORRY!!! being a vegetarian is amazing!! You are saving so many animals!!!! I have nothing against veganism and MANY of my friends are vegan!! But this is very judgemental and let it make you feel guilty! Just try your best to buy free range :) (organic eggs mean the chickens were treated better, but free range does)

  • Does the fact that it sends signal through your router mean that it might likely cause my online games to LAG because of extra work the router must do?
