  • You use an analog audio cable for your subwoofer, not a digital cable. If you use a cheap cable it will work okay as a subwoofer cable since the higher capacitance in these cheap cables deteriorates high frequencies more than low ones. Bass frequencies do travel more effectively on solid core cables though. If you are putting together a high end system and using better cables look for a solid core subwoofer cable.

  • Olbermann I appreciate your sacrifice, I have a feeling both have to flee the country soon along with millions of other “liberal scum” refugees once the govt makes move all the way to the political Right (Fascism).

  • The sheet metal work is nice but that antenna is pretty bad looking, both mechanically and with the exposed connections.

    -and running a coaxial cable through a metal hole in the bracket without a grommet of some kind will likely result in wind forces making the cable move around. This will result in the edges of the metal sawing away at the cable over time.

    I guess if you leave it exposed to the weather and wind forces from driving all the time it would be okay but man that would be a PITA to have to deploy and put away on a regular basis.
