  This actually already exists. 1st generation devices implanted a chip in your brain so you can mentally control a keyboard and mouse. Next generation devices are less invasive, and can be controlled with a simple headband you place on your head. With practice, you think, and the PC operates.

  It would not be hard to extend this so that the devices were wireless and could be in contact with each other, creating a situation where real telepathy becomes possible. In terms of computers, the devices operate using the same input devices we currently use, a keyboard and mouse. A computer operated the old way or this new way distinguish between how the user is using it, so the same limitations apply. You just easily think to yourself "do this calculation" and it would happen, you would have to think in terms of opening up a program, inputting the data and submitting it.
